Content Editing
At Macmillan, I worked with authors to resolve thematic, “big picture” issues in their manuscripts, including structure, form, plot, and character, and sentence-level errors, such as punctuation and grammar. I also worked with creative directors, illustrators, and sales teams to develop covers and interiors that would successfully position the product. This is a selection of books I’ve edited and co-edited, from picture books to young adult.
Medical and Copy Editing
At minds + assembly, I edited long- and short-form copy for print and digital promotional materials (websites, social content, emails, videos, brochures, decks, and more). I ensured quality control and adherence to brand and American Medical Association style, as well as fact-checked materials for scientific usage and clarity. This is a selection of pieces I’ve edited for TAKHZYRO, a leading brand under a major pharmaceutical company.
